Fla. (WTXL) - To help promote safety and reduce congestion over the labor day weekend, the Florida Department of Transportation is suspending normal road construction activities on all major roads in northwest Florida.
There will be no work on state roads requiring lane restrictions from noon Friday, August 29th through Monday, September 1st. All major roads will be open to normal traffic. Motorists are reminded to use caution while traveling through work zones.
