CHIPLEY, Fla. (WTXL)-- Portions of U.S. will shut down temporarily starting, Monday, January 20.
The westbound lane of U.S. 90 from New Bethel AME Church to Hilltop Drive in Gadsden County will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This is happening until Friday, Jan. 24 so that trucks can enter and exit the Quincy bypass project site.
The speed limit on U.S. 90 is 45 mph. Transportation officials say violations double when workers are present.
Drivers are asked to be extra cautious when traveling through the construction zones.
