TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL)-- A former Florida Highway Patrol Trooper is hoping to keep the roads safe while in his retirement.
Former Trooper. Philip Stuart, is teaching residents what could happen if you get behind the wheel after a few drinks.
It's part of a program called "Impact," which teaches young adults and teens about the consequences of drunk driving. Friday, they displayed crashed cars outside of Tallahassee bars to remind residents what could happen if they drink and drive.
Stuart says having this visual aid allows people to learn more about those consequences. The organization also does presentations at area High Schools and raise awareness for texting and driving accidents.
