TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Florida's chief justice is now accepting résumés for the three appointments he must make to the state's Constitution Revision Commission (CRC), which starts meeting next year.
“I recognize that my appointments to the CRC are of the utmost importance to the people of this state,” said Chief Justice Jorge Labarga. “That’s why I have decided to invite resumes for the three positions so we can draw from the broadest possible pool.”
The CRC is a 37-member group mandated by Florida's constitution to meet every 20 years in an effort to revise the supreme law of the state.
Labarga must make his three appointments with the advice of his fellow State Supreme Court justices.
Resumes should be submitted by December 31, 2016 to this site.
