TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Friday night's shooting at Hot Yoga Tallahassee has left many in shock and in confusion, but resources are available for Florida State University students.
No doubt the FSU community is shaken by the events of Friday night, but campus employees want to make sure that students are not alone.
After last nights vigil, staff at Florida State want to convey the message that it is important to talk to someone about how they are feeling.
Dr. Gomez, Director of the University Counseling Center, said licensed counselors are waiting and standing by to help in any way that they can.
"When events like this happen and these tragic events, I think it's hard to make sense of it and I think it's hard to really integrate it cognitively," said Dr. Gomez. "So I think it's incredibly important to talk to someone and maybe get out of your mind a little bit and be able to process these events."
Resources are available for all students, faculty and staff by calling 850-644-8255.
