TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (WTXL) - Leon County residents struck out, picked up spares, and rolled gutter balls all in the spirit of raising money for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Big Bend.
The organization held its 31st Bowl for Kids Sake this weekend. It's the groups largest fundraiser of the year. The event to honor the mentors and volunteers that help improve the lives of children in the capital city.
The CEO said the support from the community has been overwhelming.The organization was able to reach this year's goal raising more than $42,000.
