VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - One of the two missing Afghan Trainees from Moody Air Force Base in South Georgia has been located, according to a report from WSB-TV in Atlanta.
Federal Investigators, with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) told WTXL Wednesday evening, that they cannot confirm or deny the report.
According to WSB's report, a reporter confirmed through federal sources, that homeland security has located one of the men. However, they do not say which of the two was found.
Mirwais Kohistani and Shirzad Rohulla were part of a training program at Moody Air Force Base. Officials have said on several occasions, the trainees do not pose a threat, but say their visas have been revoked. They were reported missing in early December.
