Report: Actor Sylvester Stallone's Brother Punched Near FSU Campus

TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Actor Sylvester Stallone's younger half-brother was the victim of an aggravated battery near the Florida State Campus, according to several online Hollywood news outlets.

A news release from Tallahassee police says two suspects approached Dante Stallone as he was walking in the area of Stadium Drive and West Tennessee Street early Saturday morning.

Stallone told police that one of the suspects punched him in the face but he was able to get away and run towards the campus.

According to police, Stallone realized that he needed medical attention and was taken to a local hospital by a friend. The incident happened around 3 am.

Several online articles have identified Dante Stallone as the younger half-brother of actor Sylvester Stallone. The actor told TMZ that Dante is, "is a wonderful young man, a straight-A student who would not cause any trouble," adding, "It's just so tragic and terribly sad."

The first suspect is described as a black male, about 5 feet 9 inches tall with a stocky build, possibly wearing jeans. The second suspect is described as a black male, about 6 feet tall wearing a green shirt.
