TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - If you bought Red Bull between January 2002 and October 3, 2014, you may be entitled for a refund.

According to court documents, customers who bought Red Bull during this time can receive 10 dollars cash refund or 15 dollars worth of Red Bull products.

Why is there a court settlement for Red Bull?

There were two class action lawsuits against Red Bull, alleging that the energy drink company misrepresented their the functional benefits of their products, according to the settlement's website.

The settlement says that Red Bull denies that they did anything wrong. However, the notice says that they agreed to pay 13 million dollars to settle the two lawsuits.

This means that Red Bull has agreed to reimburse customers by cash or free products, as long as it doesn't exceed 13 million dollars.

So if you didn't get your wings, you can get your money by visiting the settlement's website and filling out a claim form. The settlement says that you don't even need a proof of purchase.

The settlement says that there will be a hearing May 1, 2015 to decide if the settlement is approved. If it is approved, according to the notice, the reimbursements will be sent out within 150 days.
