JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - An Oklahoma man was arrested for possession of marijuana and methamphetamine after he was pulled over for reckless driving in Jackson County.
Kelvin Martin, 62, of Tulsa OK., was arrested by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office on Sunday.
On Sunday, deputies received complaints of Martin recklessly driving on Pennsylvania Avenue towards I-10.
When deputies saw his car exhibiting behaviors of reckless driving in the area, they initiated a traffic stop.
JCSO said Martin continued to show suspicious behavior and continued to drive on Kynesville Road for two miles before eventually pulling over.
As deputies approached Martin, they became suspicious of him being impaired and saw marijuana on Martin's shirt and pants.
JCSO stated they then did a probable cause search of the car and found more than 20 grams of marijuana in the trunk and methamphetamine.
Deputies determined that Martin left his home in Tulsa, OK., and was driving to his brother's home in Fayettville, AK.
Martin admitted to using marijuana while he was driving and ultimately resulted in him reaching Jackson County.
Based on the evidence, he is being charged with possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana, and possession of methamphetamine.
