TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - On Thursday, March 27, 2014 beginning at 8:00 a.m., the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is scheduled, weather permitting, to permanently close Raven Street access from Tennessee Street in Tallahassee.
According to Ian Satter, FDOT spokesperson, the closure will allow FDOT to construct a pedestrian plaza and signalized mid-block crosswalk on Tennessee Street. Satter says the pedestrian plaza is part of a $4.3 million project to resurface Tennessee Street between Ocala Road and Monroe Street.
Drivers will be able to access Raven Street from West Virginia Street.
