(WTXL/CNN) - It was a snowy start to 2015 for Arizona’s Grand Canyon National Park. The flakes started flying on New Year's Eve and continued right on into the New Year leaving the south rim of the canyon coated in snow.
This was all part of a system that brought snow flurries to Phoenix and about a 1.5 feet of snow to Flagstaff.
