LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A 19-year-old rapper has been arrested in Leon County on a fugitive warrant from Georgia.

Leon County Sheriff's Office records show Kentrell DeSean Gaulden- known by his fans for his artist name "Youngboy Never Broke Again"- was booked into custody Sunday in Tallahassee.

The report says Gaulden fled from police in Waycross, Georgia, near the Florida state line.

Gaulden is from Louisiana. He's seen success lately with singles such as "Outside Today" and "No Smoke," which have appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart.

This arrest is not Gaulden's first run-in with the law.

On August 22, 2017, Gaulden was sentenced to 10 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated assault with a firearm. He was originally charged with attempted first-degree murder.

A state judge reportedly put him on three years of active supervised probation after suspending his sentence.

Gaulden was only 17-years-old at the time of his arrest for his part in a drive-by shooting. His latest arrest could potentially be a violation of the terms of his probation, which was transferred to Orleans Parish.

Gaulden has a probation review hearing scheduled for May 18, 2018.

Gaulden is currently on tour, which is allowed under the terms of his probation. His next date set for March 9 in Corpus Christi, TX.
