CECIL, Ga. (WTXL)--The Georgia Department of Revenue raids the South Georgia Motorsports Park in Cecil over the weekend.

Co-owner Kim Wood is charged with theft by taking sales tax and theft by withholding. It was a two-year investigation. A spokesperson for the department of revenue says they tried to bring Wood into compliance, but she wouldn't cooperate. They say her sales license was revoked.

Investigators say Wood owes $90,000 in unpaid taxes.

Wood turned herself in on Monday to the Cook County Sheriff's Office.

The race track is open this weekend. Future events will go on as scheduled.
