QUITMAN, Ga. (WTXL) - A 23 year old in Quitman is dead after troopers say they suspect that he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
Georgia State Patrol responded to a call around 6 AM on Sunday to a crash on Johnson Short Road, near old Madison Road.
Troopers say Justin Parker was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Blazer at high speeds and lost control after hitting a ditch and flipping the vehicle multiple times.
Coroners pronounced Parker dead on scene. Troopers say he wasn't wearing a seat belt and the incident may have been due to drinking alcohol.
