QUINCY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Quincy Police Department is looking for a suspect accused of shooting a victim in the face when he refused to give the suspect the money he demanded.
They said that they are investigating the robbery that turned into a shooting on Tuesday night around 11 p.m.
QPD was called to the 700 block of W. Washington Street in reference to someone being shot.
When they arrived, they found two victim with one of them suffering from a gunshot wound to the face.
The victims told police that just minutes earlier they had been in their yard talking when a man holding a gun walked up to them.
The suspect demanded money from the two victims and they didn't give him anything, he fired the gun, hitting one of the victims in the face. The injured victim was transported to the hospital for treatment for his injuries and was later released.
Police searched the area but have not been able to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 5’10”, thin build with a thin face. The suspect was wearing all dark clothing and a dark cap or hoodie.
