QUINCY, Fla. (WTXL)-- 1 person is dead after a crash in Gadsden County. It happened at 10:45 a.m. Sunday on CR 267 near Canopy Lane.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, James Pope, 55, was traveling eastbound on 267 when his vehicle veered onto the west shoulder before traveling back across the lanes, hitting a ditch, and overturning on its roof.
An alcohol report is pending. Pope was pronounced dead on the scene.
