GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Charges are pending for a Quincy man who left the scene of a crash in Gadsden County.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say Edi De Leon Maldonado was driving on State Road 12 around 1:45 a.m. Sunday when he lost control on a curve and hit several trees. The 30-year-old took off on foot after the accident, but troopers were later able to track him down.
Maldonado had minor injuries from the crash. He says he was the only person in his truck when it happened.
