GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A Gadsden County crash on Sunday evening has left one Quincy man in critical condition.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, Williams Grimes was traveling westbound on Cooks Landing Road when he found himself drifting around a curve.

The 48-year-old was attempting to correct the drift, when he lost control and collided bumpers with an oncoming car containing three minors.

Troopers say Grimes' car finally came to a stop when it spun off road and into a tree.

Grimes was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in critical condition, and two of the passengers of the second vehicle went to Capital Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
