Quincy man arrested when marijuana plants found in his backyard

GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A Quincy man is facing drug charges after police found multiple marijuana plants growing in his backyard.

According to FHP, troopers responded to a damaged mailbox in the 1200 block of Juniper Road Monday.

During their investigation, troopers saw marijuana plants in 47-year-old Marshall White's backyard.

Troopers then obtained a search warrant and saw White cutting down the plants.

In total 10 plants were confiscated.

White was taken into custody and is being held in the Gadsden County Jail.
