WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL)--A Quincy man is accused of leading law enforcement officers on a high speed chase through three counties.

Wakulla County deputies say 39-year-old Craig Robert Millette was being investigated as suspect in a reckless driving case, and drove away.

It happened on Thursday. The chase then went through Leon County and ended in Wakulla County on New Light Church Road where deputies say he crashed in the woods.

Liberty County Major Brian Langston ran after him, and arrested Millette.

Millette is charged with fleeing and eluding and driving while license is suspended or revoked with knowledge. He also faces a variety of narcotics charges in Liberty County as well as reckless driving, fleeing and eluding and resisting arrest without violence.

Millette was booked in the Wakulla County Jail, and has since been released to the Liberty County Sheriff's Office.

The Florida Highway Patrol and Leon County Sheriff's Office were also involved in the case.
