GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A Quincy man has been arrested after deputies say he battered a missing woman, sending her to the hospital for severe trauma.

Sam Robinson, 74, was taken into custody on Monday.

The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office says they responded to the 3400 block of Glory Road in Quincy after receiving calls from a family about a missing person and welfare check.
