QUINCY, Fl. (WTXL) -- A Gadsden County man had his first appearance in court just one day after he was accused of killing his father.
Bobby Alexander Jr. was charged with first degree murder.
According to the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office, deputies got a call from Alexander Jr. around 10:30am Wednesday, saying that he had stabbed his father, Bobby Alexander Sr., with a knife, killing him.
Court documents say that Alexander Jr. told deputies he had been thinking of killing his father for over two years.
At Thuersday's court hearing, Judge Garner conditionally appointed Alexander Jr. a Public Defender.
He is being held in the Gadsden County Jail without bond.
