QUINCY, Fla. (WTXL)- The winners of two scholarships awarded by Quincy's Interim Police Chief Glenn Sapp are announced.
Crystal Powell and Camarion Hale, both graduating seniors from East Gadsden High School were selected for the honor. Both plan to attend FSU in the fall.
Chief Sapp says he was raised by a single parent in a low income home, so he understands the extra support students need to reach their full potential.
The two winners will both receive $300, personally funded by Sapp.
