TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--One lucky Quincy firefighter just won an expense paid trip to see the Florida State Seminoles in the BCS Championship Game.

Todd Pierce along with hundreds of other lottery players, were placed in a drawing for the championship game after purchasing a scratch-off ticket.

Pierce says the next steps is talking his boss into letting him have a few days off from work to watch the game. He's looking forward to seeing the 'Noles and the sights of Pasadena.

"I've never been to California," said Pierce. "Man I never been farther west than Dallas, Texas. So I'm just going to California, just experiencing the BCS Championship Game and I won and I was here when they called my name."

Pierce will get two tickets to the game and he plans on taking one of his fellow firefighters with him.
