QUINCY, FL (WTXL) - Chief Scott Haire has announced via his Facebook page that he will retire after 26 and a half years as the head of Quincy's Fire Department.
On his Facebook page, the chief says "I am thankful for the years that I have spent with the fire department. I leave on good terms and leave the fire department in good hands."
No word yet on when Chief Haire will step down or who will be his replacement.
