TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--They were tied up in plastic shopping bags and left to die, now seven rescued puppies need a good home.
Six weeks ago, the puppies were found on the side of a road, inside plastic bags, in 30-degree weather.
They didn't die, instead just a few days before Christmas, a good samaritan found the puppies and contacted the authorities, who called the Leon County Humane Society.
Three puppies have already been adopted, but four still need a home.
They are currently about seven weeks old, spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, up-to-date on vaccinations and free of heartworms.
Their adoption fee is $250. For more information contact the Leon County Humane Society at 850-224- 9193.
