TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - The Public Defender in the case of the Grandmother charged with first degree murder in the death of her grandson has filed a notice of intent for the court case.
Martha White is accused of stabbing Mason Rhinehart, her soon to be 7 year-old grandson, to death in August of 2014.
White was indicted by a grand jury in 2014, where prosecutors said they will be seeking the death penalty.
The Public Defender representing White recently filed a notice of intent to rely on the defense of insanity.
