TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Animal Services held low-cost microchip and rabies vacinations Tuesday.
The vaccination clinic was held at the Tallahassee-Leon Community Animal Service Center.
State and local laws require all dogs, cats and ferrets to be vaccinated against rabies. Pets must be at least two months old to be microchipped and at least three months old to be vaccinated.
According to ASC, close to 70% of the more than 6,000 animals the ASC has received in 2014 were stray animals without a microchip.
