TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A woman was arrested for prostitution over the weekend after a Tallahassee Police Sergeant turned himself over on Friday for soliciting her services.
Afton Chewning was arrested on Saturday according to the Leon County Booking Report.
Chewning was identified by the Tallahassee Police Department as the prostitute found with Sergeant Brian Davis earlier this year.
According to TPD, Davis was put on paid administrative leave in March after officers found Davis and Chewning together in an Apalachee Parkway hotel room during a drug investigation.
Police were sent to the hotel room after a 911 caller told dispatchers that they believed there were people in the hotel room selling drugs.
When police arrived, they say they found Chewning and Davis in the hotel room together.
Davis turned himself over the Leon County Jail on Friday.
