TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- The Tallahassee Police Department honors "Child Passenger Safety Week" by offering free car seat inspections today at the station.
Officer Dave Northway with Tallahassee Police Department says, "We'll have technicians that are out there that are specially trained to know if they are installed correctly, to know if the child is in them correctly."
Parents stopped by to learn if they had the proper car seat and how to set them up from a specialist. It's a service that T-P-D offers every work day by appointment.
Sara Kinsey, Tallahassee resident, states "We recommend everyone come and make sure that they've put them in correctly."
Parents left the Police Department feeling confident that their child safely riding passenger. They say it's something every parent should do.
