TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Leon County Commissioner Bill Proctor is asking the District School Board to review a case against suspended Lincoln High School Coach Dimitric Salters.

Proctor claims Superintendent Rocky Hanna authorized an illegal criminal investigation against Coach Salters.

He also says although the School District forwarded their allegations to the State Attorney's office, Salters was not interviewed or given the opportunity to make a statement.

Salters was arrested in 2017 on charges of fraud and grand theft, accused of stealing $13,000 from the school district.

His trial is set for January.
