TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Less than a month away from primary elections, candidates are working hard to try to win your vote.
WTXL ABC's Jada Williams was live Thursday morning with details on a forum addressing an issue organizers say doesn't get enough attention.
The forum is all about the environment and aims to see how each candidate will handle environmental issues.
As election day draws nearer, candidates continue to go toe-to-toe in these forums.
Thursday's forum will feature candidates for Leon County Commission seats 1 and 3, and Tallahassee commission seat 3, 5 and the mayoral race.
Important issues include providing funding for parks and trails, protecting water quality and even storm preparedness.
The forum, which is free, starts at 6 p.m. Thursday in the King Life Sciences Auditorium on FSU's campus.
The candidates will accept questions from the audience.
Today's forum is the only one the Big Bend Environmental Forum for the primary election.
But the group will host a forum for the General Election on October 11 at City Hall.
