MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- According to a tweet sent out by President Donald Trump, he has announced Christopher A. Wray as the new Director of the FBI.
This nomination comes to us as former Director of the FBI James Comey prepares for his appearance in court.
Comey will testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday, June 8.
Trump tweeted quote "I will be nominating Christopher A. Wray, a man of impeccable credentials, to be the new Director of the FBI".
