TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Former President Bill Clinton made a stop in the Capital City Friday, attending a private fundraiser to campaign for his wife, Hillary.
It's the second time this year the former President has campaigned for Hillary in Tallahassee.
But, it's the third stop for a member of the Clinton family. Their daughter Chelsea was in the area back in March.
So, why are the Clintons putting so much emphasis on Tallahassee?
That's what we asked WTXL Political Contributor DR. Ed Moore: "It shows how critical Florida is going to be in the general election. Florida is ripe territory for the Clintons. It always has been both in terms of votes and as a bank if you will Florida is sort of a bank for a lot of political parties."
Hillary Clinton has already received a major endorsement in Florida's Capital City. Mayor Andrew Gillum has thrown in his support and has actively campaigned for Hillary.
