BRADFORDVILLE, Fla. (WTXL) - A boil water notice has been issued for Talquin Electric customers in the Bradfordville area.
The notice was issued around 9 p.m. on Monday and officials say that the precautionary boil water notice is still in effect.
They say that approximately 585 water services are affected by the notice. Officials advise that you do not drink the water before bringing it to a rolling boil, letting it boil for one minute, and letting it cool prior to use.
In addition, affected customers may experience discolored tap water due to shifting sediments in the water main.
They say washing clothes with discolored water may tint or stain garments so to prevent it, make sure to run water from an outside spigot or bath tub faucet to assure that water was been flushed before operating appliances.
If sediment is present in the water, let it settle before drinking.
The following areas are affected: Lilly Baker Ln, Jared Way, Susan Bradford, Centerville Rd, Haylee Blair, Old Chemonie, Archer Cir, Starhawk, Winter Creek, Creekridge.
