TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Leon County School officials have confirmed that they are working with law enforcement to verify an online threat made against Lincoln High School.

This after a message began circling on social media that someone planned to bring a gun school on Monday.

Another message warning students to stay away from Rickards High School has also been circulating on social media sites.

The Leon County Sheriff's Office says it is working to track down where these potential threats originated.

School officials say all buildings will remain open, and some will have an increased police presence.
