VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - The Valdosta Police Department says that remains found may belong to a human.
The remains were found in a wooded area near the 900 block.
VPD says the call about the situation came in at 12:14 p.m. on July 27.
The remains were taken to the medical examiner's office in Macon for an autopsy.
Police say there are still waiting on results from a medical examiner.
