TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The City of Tallahassee says a busy part of Gaines Street will be closed this weekend for infrastructure work.
The city tweeted about the road work on Friday:
Heads up #Tallahassee, a portion of Gaines Street will be closed between Woodward and Lake Bradford starting at 8pm tonight until 5am on Monday. https://t.co/N6UCtBeTTv

Starting at 8 p.m. Friday night, both the westbound and eastbound lanes of Gaines Street from the roundabout at Woodward Avenue to Lake Bradford will be closed.
The lanes will stay closed until 5 a.m. Monday morning. Crews say detour routes will be clearly marked.
