TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Early voting began Saturday morning in Leon County as polls opened at 8 a.m.
Leon County Supervisor of Elections, Ion Sancho, predicted a high turnout of new voters this year due to a record number of voters switching political parties.
During early voting, voters have the opportunity to get their voting done ahead of election day, which helps them to skip the long lines.
Early voting lasts through March 12th and there are seven early voting locations in Leon County.
