Eric Holder has served as the head of the Justice Department for six years. Holder is the nation's 82nd Attorney General and first African-American to hold the office. He will stay in the position until his successor is confirmed by the Senate. President Obama held a White House event today with more on the departure.
In the race for Florida's next Governor, there have been accusations that Governor Rick Scott's supporters tried to intimidate donors at a recent Charlie Crist fundraiser.
