VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) -The Valdosta police have arrested a man they said killed the man who shot and killed his brother.

The Valdosta Police Department said that on Nov. 14th, Brian Moore was found dead outside his home in the 2400 block of Knox Drive. An investigation revealed that Malik Griffin, 20, drove Emory Carter Jr., also 20, to Moore's house with the intent to rob him.

At some point, Moore was shot by Carter Jr. and both suspects fled the scene. Police said that 23-year-old Jordan Williams, a friend of Moore, removed the drugs and a handgun from the scene and ran before police could arrive.

Police said that they knew some of Moore's family and friends knew who had shot him, but did not identify him to authorities.

On Nov. 28, 28-year-old Justin Brown, who was Moore's brother, saw Carter Jr. walking through Ora Lee West Housing Authority Complex. He shot him several times, killing him.

Brown was charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Williams was charged tampering with evidence and false statement. Griffin was also charged with aggravated assault for his involvement in Moore's death.
