TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Police Unity Tour rolls on into day two and riders are finishing up 65 miles.
It was a rainy today for the riders and the roads a bit tougher with all the hills.
It's may have been a soggy day for the riders, but the weather didn't hold them back. They simply pushed each other along.
Team Tallahassee shared stories with other riders at different stops along the way, cherishing the memory of fallen officers from our area and across the country.
Sergeant Gregory Hunter worked for the Grand Prairie Police Department in Texas. Denise Hunter says riding in his honor is therapeutic.
The riders say they have a sense of accomplishment to complete day two and ride for their loved ones.
