Officers say they will be conducting a DUI saturation patrol around FSU
“We remind all motorists that they should never get behind the wheel after consuming alcohol. But if someone does choose to drive impaired, we will do our part to get them off our roadways," said David Perry, chief of the FSU Police Department and assistant vice president for Public Safety. "No warnings. No excuses.”
Law enforcement has a legal obligation to publish this information prior to the check point taking place.
“Driving impaired is simply not worth the risk, so don’t take the chance,” said FSUPD Deputy Chief Terri Brown. “Remember, we will be out in force, and we will be watching, so ‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.’”
