TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee woman as been arrested, accused of ripping out her boyfriend's hair and biting him before cutting him with a knife.

Pilar Thompson, 21, has been charged with domestic aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

According to arrest documents, police were called to Alliance at 400 Apartments at 400 Putnam Drive about a domestic battery on Sunday.

When they arrived, they spoke with the victim who said Thompson cut him and pulled out his hair. Officers noted that the victim's hands were bleeding and had cuts on them. His hair was also uneven as if some of his dreadlocks were missing.

The victim, who lives with Thompson, told police that they started scuffling after getting into an argument about the victim using the car they share.  When she wouldn't give him the keys, the victim took Thompson's cellphone to trade with her for the keys.

That's when Thompson got angry, started hitting him, and ended up pulling out several of his dreadlocks, according to the victim. He told investigators he never hit Thompson because he didn't want to and is on probation.

Eventually, Thompson grabbed a steak knife and started coming toward the victim. He told police that she cut his hands as he tried to defend himself and separate her from the knife.

The victim called 911 soon after and went outside to wait on law enforcement.

After detaining Thompson, officers note she "spontaneously uttered" to the victim that she was glad she bit him and cut him, and said she should've stabbed him.

Once escorted to a patrol vehicle, Thompson told officers that the victim was on probation and was not supposed to leave the apartment unless he was going to work. When the victim asked to leave, she refused to let him use her car.

She said she hid the keys but the victim found them, leading to a scuffle over the keys. Thompson said at one point, the victim took her phone.

Thompson admitted to pulling the victim's hair and biting him, and told police he never hit her, only "mushed" her. When she couldn't get the keys and the phone back, she asked the victim to leave the apartment and he refused.

According to court documents, Thompson admitted to grabbing a knife to scare the victim into leaving. Investigators note that at that point, according to Thompson's story, the victim and Thompson were no longer fighting.

However, Thompson denied cutting the victim, saying she only held the knife and threatened him. When asked how his hands were cut, she said he must have grabbed the knife while she pointed it at him.

Documents say Thompson repeatedly said how the victim made her more and more angry. They note while police were on scene, she kept shouting expletives at the victim who was trying to talk to her calmly.

Based on the investigation, officers found probable cause to arrest Thompson for domestic aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. She has since been released for jail and is due for a case management hearing on Aug. 14.
