MEIGS, GA (WTXL) – Thomas County deputies are currently investigating Mayor Linda Harris for misuse of city funds.
She was originally taken into custody by Meigs police Wednesday night. However the investigation was immediately turned over to the Thomas County Sheriff's Office.
This investigation is ongoing and details will be released soon.
