NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say three people were shot while sitting in traffic in North Miami Beach.
North Miami Beach police Sgt. Jason Ochoa tells local media that the three victims were sitting inside a car while they were in traffic at a busy intersection on Saturday evening when the shooting occurred.
Police say one victim was shot in the head, one in the abdomen and the other in back.
Authorities say the three victims drove themselves to the hospital after sustaining the injuries.
Their conditions were not immediately known. Several bullet casings were found at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
