CAIRO, Ga. (WTXL) - School administrators at Cairo High School are searching for the vandals responsible for destroying parts of the school's athletic facilities.
Athletic Director Tom Fallaw says that someone is vandalizing gates and other sections of fencing around the facility.
Besides the vandalism, athletics staff says they also have to be concerned about potential safety risks of those using the fields after hours.
"There has been some illegal activities such as alcoholic beverages being consumed and dogs being brought on the field which are safety concerns for us," said Fallaw.
The school will be asking for Cairo Police Department's help to patrol the area after school and on the weekend.
