VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - A suspect in two Valdosta robberies, one of which a GNC employee was held at gunpoint and tied up in a bathroom with a belt, has been arrested according to the Valdosta Police Department.
Alford Woods Jr. was arrested in Kansas City, Missouri, on Sunday by U.S. Marshal Service, according to police.
Woods is accused of robbing the Valdosta GNC on September 13 and the MS Food Mart on September 12.
In addition to the armed robbery charges, Woods is also being charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and police say more charges could be added.

Police say extradition proceedings will be held but at this time, it is not known when Woods will be returned to the state.
