VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - A Wednesday crash leaves 5 people with injuries and a portion of Highway 84 closed according to the Valdosta Police Department.
Around 11:30 a.m. a vehicle traveling eastbound on Highway 84 struck a log, according to the police department.
Police say two other vehicles were involved in that wreck and and a fourth swerved to avoid roadway debris, landing in a ditch.
According to officers there were 5 minor injuries, none of which are life threatening.
Maston Davis, Jr. was charged with Improper Passing and Following too Close, says police.
As of 4 p.m. Highway 84 is still closed for clean-up.
